Rates, Terms & Conditions for Booking

The upper and main floors are the "Upper Chalet" (sleeps 11 adults & 4 children), while the self-contained lower floor is the "Lower Chalet" (sleeps 10 adults). Check-in time is 4 pm  & check-out time is 11 am. Early check-ins or later check-out arrangements may be possible at the discretion of the owners. DRIVING/GETTING to CHALET in WINTER: During the snow season from November to April, people driving to the chalet should have good quality snow tires and carry chains.

PHONE & INTERNET NOTE: There is no phone in the chalet. The location has good cell reception. For telephone access, be sure to bring a cell phone & charger. The chalet does have wifi. You will be provided a temporary access code upon final booking arrangements.

TERMS & BOOKING

  • Check-In Time is 4:00 pm and check-out time is 11:00 am.
  • Responsibility of Person Booking: The person renting the property must be 25 years old or older and occupying the property for term of the reservation. The person renting the property must accept responsibility for themselves and their guests.
  • Maximum Occupancy: The person renting the property agrees that overnight guests will not exceed the maximum occupancy indicated on the signed agreement. If found to have overnight guests in excess of agreed maximum, the owners reserve the right to withhold the rental damage deposit.
  • Minimum Booking: Reservation must be a minimum of 2 nights. During Christmas/New Year's weeks, minimum booking is 3 nights--and only whole chalet bookings are permitted.
  • Reservation Deposit: 25% non-refundable deposit is due at time of booking. No dates will be held without this payment.
  • Balance Payment: Balance of full Booking Charge is due 30 days prior to reserved arrival date. NOTE: If balance is unpaid on due date, reservation maybe forfeit & owners will retain the 25% non-refundable deposit..
  • Damage Deposit: Damage deposits will be held against renter's credit card as a 'hold'. This hold will be released once housekeeping has assessed the state of the reserved property and reported to owners. NOTE: This deposit will be held against occupancy in excess of agreed maximum, loss or damage during your stay and may be held against extensive cleaning or late check-out charges after you leave.
  • Cancellation: For cancellations confirmed in writing or email with owners prior to 30 days before scheduled arrival, owners will retain the non-refundable reservation deposit. Cancellations confirmed with owners between 16 to 29 days before scheduled arrival will receive a 50% refund of thefullbooking fee. Cancellations confirmed with owners between 10 to 15 days before scheduled arrival will receive a 25% refund of thefullbooking fee. No refunds of rental fees will be made in the event of a "no-show", "early departure", or if cancellations are confirmed with owners 9 days or less before scheduled arrival.
  • Pets & Smoking: Pets and smoking are NOT PERMITTED--not even on the decks. Pets and smoking are NOT PERMITTED--not even on the decks. Make kennel or boarding arrangements for your pets before travelling. If renters are found to have animals on the premises, the full damage deposit hold on the renters' credit card may be forfeit. If you have smokers in your party, they can smoke in the driveway area.
  • Housekeeping: We do not provide daily housekeeping. We provide dish soap & dishwasher detergent.  For laundry, you need your own detergent & softener. With advanced notice, owners may be able to arrange housekeeping.
  • Refunds: Refunds are based on our Cancellation policy only. We are not responsible for weather, road or snow conditions; resort issues or closures; amenity issues or closures; trail conditions or closures; acts of God; power and/or utility outages; or cases where members of your party back-out of your reservation arrangements.
  • Vacating Premises: When leaving, renters are expected to: wash any dirty dishes in the kitchen sink, put any other dirty dishes in dishwasher & run it; remove contents from refrigerator; strip beds & place all dirty linens & towels in bathtubs; clean any large spills or messes. Renters are responsible for carrying out garbage & recycling to the subdivision bins. Renters must notify owners of any damages, or significant cleaning issues prior to departure.
